They seem well made although I haven't tested them on the road yet. The design made it difficult for me to attach them to my trailer. The studs should be about half an inch longer to make it easier to attach the light to the license plate bracket and attach the washers and nuts. I love the look and build quality of these lights and once you find the right way to connect them they look great when lit too. I was a bit worried when I bought these as they were very cheap and I had read some bad reviews. Mine bolted directly to the existing trailer light mounts. I had to drill a center hole in the brackets to get the wires through as my old light wires were coming out of the bottom of the lights. It was a breeze to connect. Replace the old lights that were on my trailer, the new light is much better and lasts a long time, they are sealed and waterproof.
