Don't know if other hose/valve systems are better but this one doesn't suck
But it's definitely SMART. It took about 400 clicks to "prime" the tube for refilling. It's not clear if I'll have to go back to him every time whether or not it works without extra preparation, but rest assured that if he needs that handshake every time he visits the sink, he'll go right back to Revain. Maybe wrong valve check? Edit: After a few days of use, the suction power seems to be holding up. Perhaps priming is inevitable, but pumping 400+ seems a bit extreme. Maybe provide some sort of prime mechanism/guide that doesn't go beyond 400 pumps?
