I know the Kook brand from their frosted dinner plates and their products have never let me down. I used to have a kettle that was specifically designed to pour water into a coffee filter. In this case I have to boil hot water in another pot first. This kettle solved the problem by making coffee-making much easier. It comes with a thermometer, perfect design for tea lovers. You can check the water temperature for different types of tea. The handle has a special coating, I don't feel hot when you hold it with boiling water inside. Spout cutout, easy to control water flow, good design for coffee lovers. I also checked the bottom of the kettle after boiling and it didn't have a horrible burning spot. This teapot is awesome.
