I love them because I bought them. I needed cheap and comfortable shoes for long walks. My last pair of cheap shoes were skateboard shoes and my heels broke in 4 months. The soles on it are plain thick rubber and should last a while. However, I wouldn't run in it. They're constructed differently than most running shoes, with a tongue in the middle under the laces. Instead, the body of the shoe is a single piece of fabric sewn onto the sole, almost like a pocket for your foot. It's a bit like an old-fashioned swivel shoe. The laces are only there to tighten them and they won't be tight enough for me to be comfortable in them for any length of time.
