Does what it's supposed to and looks nice.

I didn't post photos because the other reviewers did a good job and their pictures are accurate. need a bigger hub. I noticed that my smaller hub was starting to fail. Some switches worked, some didn't. I'm a techie so when I opened the box and saw the PSU I asked why? Hubz said that the best hubs come with one so the hub doesn't draw all the power. I'm not sure I explained it correctly, but I've been told this is good and what to look for when buying a larger hub. the inner child loves all the things that I couldn't buy as a child because they hadn't been invented yet. What I noticed is that the difference with this hub is that you press the shutdown button for a port and it takes a second for it to actually shut down. It's not instant. The LED slowly fades out and the port turns off. I also noticed that the switch to disable the port is not very sensitive. You actually have to press down and the port will turn off. I am giving it five stars because it is exactly as described in the ad and does exactly what it is supposed to do for my particular computer which is set up to connect 8 things. that won't connect to the back of my computer. Each item gets enough power. It's attractive on my table. Blue light has a calming effect. Don't make fun of me because it's a calming color. When a colleague chats and chats at a conference, I can look down at the soothing blue light and dream of the sea. and pushed my annoying colleague to do it. HA!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
