It comes in two parts and is held together by two small screws that do not hold together by themselves. After the screws were tightened as tight as possible, the two parts came loose and didn't hold the camera in a stable position. I was afraid that the expensive camera would fall. I applied superglue to the screw holes and between the two pieces. So far, so good. This should come together without any glue, which may or may not work. Time and use will tell. The screw that attaches to the camera strips the paint from the mount when tightened.
