Review on Power Probe III Clamshell - Carbon Fiber Print (PP3CSCARB) [Car Diagnostic Test Tool by Matt Abba

This tool has gotten a lot of feedback on the internet - it seems there are usually people / technicians who never got it out of their toolbox. It's certainly useful, but I think it's more for being able to enable/test components. There's a lot to note in the instructions, so if you're a casual DIYer like me, you'll need to take it out and use it while reading the instructions to properly understand its usefulness. I think I lived without one for 50 years, but I always enjoy buying tools. Four stars only because I can't quite assess the practical use yet. Four stars for ease of use because I think I'll need some lead utensils to compensate for the thickness of the test tip. Three stars for accuracy because I can't compare it to anything yet, even though the voltage reading is the same as my Extech DMM. Whatever you do, figure out the circuit before turning on the power button or you'll fry something. I think a double fuse on the circuit breaker will help prevent a hasty decision to turn on the circuit.
