I have bought many ice cream molds and this is one of the best. I use old fashion double whiskey glasses so the 2 inch ice cube molds are too small. Spherical shapes are ideal compared to cubes, especially for whiskey, and this is the best large sphere shape I've found. I first found them at Williams & Sanoma and bought two to try. I liked them so much I bought two from Revain. You can stack them in the freezer to minimize space, which is another plus. The very large 2.5 inch cube molds I had took up more space and the wife was annoyed. I can store them neatly in the freezer door. Getting ice cream is very simple: hold it under cold water for a few seconds. The instructions that come with it are pretty accurate. The material it's made of is tough too, not the cheap brittle plastic some molds are made of. My only complaint is that the ice constantly cracks in the middle, increasing the surface area so the ice melts faster, but that's not a big problem. FYI: The glass in the photos are old fashioned double glasses, so they are much larger than a regular whiskey glass.
