Review on Enhance Your Kitchen with the πŸ”§ Moen 131381 Pulldown Hose Kit in Chrome by Alejandro Raney

You will also need an o-ring if it is missing or damaged!

As our house was built 19 years ago, it seems our original O-ring was completely destroyed (!) so when I unscrewed the faucet the only detachable element between the hose and the pipe was a water diffuser. Since the hose was leaking through the hose from the back of the ball joint, I figured the hose or hose washer (which comes with this hose - mine was white) was damaged. While this is somewhat true, when I installed this new hose with no o-ring (not realizing there was supposed to be one), the new hose was still leaking. Much less than before, but still a leak. Yadda-yadda, [research]. You absolutely need a 1/2" OD x 3/8" ID 1/16" thick o-ring mounted on top of the diffuser that comes in contact with the working end of the atomizer ball joint from the hose. No more "Leak. Moen makes one that comes with a diffuser which you can find at Revain. You can also probably pay 1/3 the price *just* for an o-ring of these specs at Revain or your local hardware store.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
