S Hook Not Sufficient

I mounted this product on a heavy glass storm door that is exposed to wind. The wind freshened it up yesterday. The force of the wind was so strong that the S-hook actually bent and flew off without being caught by the chain. He actually ripped the door closer out of the door frame. See photos. I've replaced the S-hook with a small carabiner for now, but plan to buy something stronger from the hardware store soon. I would advise anyone purchasing this product to replace the S hook with something that doesn't bend easily. Otherwise the product seems good.
