Factory Spice Not bad; Easy to use and clean

Ideal for our flat top gas burners and also works in the oven. Factory-baked spice is good enough to start with, but you'll need to clean it before using it. Out of curiosity, I tested the factory finish by frying Dover Dole (thin, tender fish) in a little olive oil. Yes, it didn't work. So I made my usual seasoning (natural lard; 475 degrees for an hour; slow cooling) and after one iteration it's already a lot better. Duck breast and some pork are everywhere now. From that point on, he just uses it as much as possible to perfect it. Next comes the steak baptism - I wouldn't put bacon on it because the low sides would make it a bit messy. It's easy to use often. It is already a cooking tool. A real plus are the low sides that allow you to reach the dishes and are generally easier to wash in our sink (hot water, some salt to remove buildup). There will be another.
