It is large but not bulky in size and weight. The design is great for cleaning as you can easily get to all the parts. The gasket is also easy to remove. The glass isn't very thick, which makes it light, and we handle it with no problem, as we usually do with a large glass jug filled with something. When full it tends to drip down the front a bit, but what jug doesn't? I rate it 4 out of 5 because the seal can pop out at times, allowing liquid to flow under and out rather than over the rim. this and through the cap as provided. This is a bit of an issue when using a spout to strain something like pulp to remove the pulp. Overall it's worth the price and it's nice to have a glass that doesn't weigh a ton.
