This jug is well made and elegant. Its predecessor was made of plastic, and although this glass container was unbreakable, algae began to form in it, despite frequent cleaning. That's why I chose glass after throwing away the plastic pitcher. It's a sleek and attractive container with a handy lid that I wanted to protect from dust and other potential contaminants.
