Review on πŸ§ƒ 85oz Glass Pitcher: Stainless Steel Lid, Hot/Cold Water, Juice, Coffee, Tea - Safe Borosilicate Jug by Michael Tegan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Elegant and functional water jug

This jug is well made and elegant. Its predecessor was made of plastic, and although this glass container was unbreakable, algae began to form in it, despite frequent cleaning. That's why I chose glass after throwing away the plastic pitcher. It's a sleek and attractive container with a handy lid that I wanted to protect from dust and other potential contaminants. The only thing that bothers me is the handle which seems pretty flimsy for the weight of this jug when filled with water. I hope this will withstand future usage issues. That brings me to the subject of these reviews. Hey Revane, how can anyone offer more than an educated guess as to "longevity" after owning something for a few weeks. In this case, I hope that this purchase will last for several years. So it's ridiculously premature to comment on durability at this point. Does my three star rating on this aspect reflect my concerns about the durability of the rather flimsy pot handle? This adds elegance to the pitcher, but could this create an issue with durability? However, with this one concern, otherwise I am very satisfied with my purchase.
