The carriage on my garage door has worn out after 12 years of daily use, resulting in a noisy slide and sometimes the door cannot be opened without human assistance. I thought I would have to replace the entire door closer. I'm glad I found this part on Revain. Installation was a bit tricky as I couldn't remove the cart without unscrewing the screw rail from the wall. The garage door spring got in the way and I had to raise the handrails to get the cart down. As soon as this was done, the old cart immediately slipped and the new one immediately. This cart looks and fits like an OEM for my Genie opener. While I was at it, I also adjusted the spring tension on the door itself. Loss of spring tension over the years caused the garage door to become very heavy so I think the old wagon eventually failed. Be VERY CAREFUL when adjusting the garage door tension spring yourself. Make sure you have the right tools and be prepared for a very hard spring hit once the spring is released. If necessary, consult a professional. With the spring adjusted and the new carriage lubricated and in place, the garage door opener will function like new again and be MUCH quieter than before the repair. I'm so glad someone is selling them. At the current price it is very expensive.
