I bought this screen to use as a dedicated Aida64 touchpad screen, which seems standard for it, but after installing it I noticed two things. My setup consists of an HDMI cable that runs from my GPU in my case to the display, and a USB cable that connects to the USB header on my motherboard and connects to the display's power supply. First, it's clearly NOT an IPS screen. For me this is mostly not a problem as I plug it into my PC but definitely a hit as IPS is used as a marketing term here. For the record, I don't care if it's IPS or not, but if it's not (and it isn't), then don't list it anywhere. Second, and more importantly, it will show a "No Signal" screen when it has power but no signal from HDMI (e.g. in sleep mode or even possibly when the computer is off if the motherboard has USB power forwards). Since I leave my USB ports on while the computer is in sleep mode, it's pretty annoying. I will not forcibly disable USB ports while I sleep, nor should I. I would like the screen to just turn off when there is no signal transmission. I bought the black PCB version instead of the blue ones, not sure if it has any effect but should be noted for those who decide. Screen for use as a touchpad (or similar software).
