You may need an adapter cable with this part.
This was a perfect replacement for my 2010 Cadillac SRX apart from the fact that the electrical connector was different than my original. I had to buy another adapter cable to connect this replacement to my original cable. Also, this part solved my problem and the engine light is no longer displayed on the dashboard.
