Review on Q100 2.1 Channel Hi-Fi Bluetooth 5.0 Power Amplifier Class D Mini Stereo Audio Amp Speaker Subwoofer Wireless Receiver 80W+40Wx2 Dual DSP (Black): The Ultimate Wireless Audio Solution for Crystal-Clear Sound by Leon Johnsson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for home audio

When I decided to buy this product there were no reviews yet, so I'll leave it. This is exactly the product I was looking for so I bought it without seeing any reviews about it. The amplifier in my set of Klipsch Pro-Media 2.1 speakers was faulty (only one side worked and the wire connection to the other speaker was broken and half of the subwoofer's foam surround was missing making it sound terrible) so instead of replacing it I got the whole set I decided to use an amplifier to power the speakers instead. So far the only bug I can find is that the AUX input plug has to be manually unplugged before it can be played via Bluetooth. The volume LED is pretty bright at night, so I turn it off when not in use. Either way, it's probably good for the life of this little amp. I will update this review if the amp fails soon (purchased 19th July) but if it lasts 10 years I would buy it again. It's not the best choice for a music lover, but I doubt anyone would choose it anyway. It sounds normal, loud enough, with no distortion once the input levels are set. Bass sounds good now after replacing the bad subwoofer. If you're looking for something cheap to power your extra speakers, you probably won't be too disappointed. It sounds as good as the original Klipsch 2.1 Pro Media System and better than any full speaker set I could buy for the same money so I'm happy with it so far.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Security

Great amp, small, but packs a large punch! Lovely for bookshelf systems.
