Great while it lasts!

It worked well for about 5 months, after that the Bluetooth function stopped working. Contacted their support team to see if there is a workaround and they asked if the aux input works and yes it does but now the normal volume setting is 8 and used to be 2 (I think that's all that mattered to her). Aside from the loss of Bluetooth functionality, it only works at around 20% of its original capacity. I'll live with it, but not very happy.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

The spark is so strong when I plug it in that I'm afraid to use it.

Overall this seems like a good little device. I like that it has a third channel for bass. The audio is normal, no buzzing or anything. Loud enough but my small speakers don't explode, the sound is louder with a bass speaker. I like the volume meter, goes to 31. Sparks fly when I plug it in, I'm guessing it's a cheap power supply but I'm not sure. Still, I wouldn't go away and leave it plugged in. i give it back

Great amplifier, small but mighty! Ideal for bookcase systems.

I am currently using this amp to boost my computer sound. I've had a bunch of Samsung speakers where the amp died a few years ago and I've used them with this amp. The left and right channels are two 4 ohm speakers connected in series, and the subwoofer is the original 5.1 amplifier. Based on the performance of this amp I'd say it's a great fit for any room where you would use a stack of bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer. Getting clear audio output and balancing the subwoofer is pretty easy…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some troubles

Would recommend, great as a desktop device or as a killer soundbar.

Good: Decent sound. I use it to power a set of bookshelf speakers and it connects to my TV, making it basically a soundbar killer. I turn the volume up to 12 (goes all the way to 31 but there's a lot of distortion) then my TV outputs the volume, essentially turning my TV into a preamp. Appropriately, there were no problems with it. The fact that it comes with a more powerful power supply was the reason I chose it. I never use bluetooth. Bad: The display is stupidly bright, and by the looks of…

Suitable for home audio

When I decided to buy this product there were no reviews yet, so I'll leave it. This is exactly the product I was looking for so I bought it without seeing any reviews about it. The amplifier in my set of Klipsch Pro-Media 2.1 speakers was faulty (only one side worked and the wire connection to the other speaker was broken and half of the subwoofer's foam surround was missing making it sound terrible) so instead of replacing it I got the whole set I decided to use an amplifier to power the…

Amplifier First Impressions

Why Did I Buy This? There was only one review from the guy with the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 with a dead amp. And so it happened to me that Klipsch Promedia 2.1 with a dead amp. I had a really scratchy/distorted left channel that I couldn't fix. So I gutted my subwoofer, replaced the rotten original woofer with a $5 replacement from Parts Direct dot com, plugged all the holes with hot glue and hooked it up. everything in front of this mini amp. The included power supply gives you 72W, but you can…
