Reducing interference with external components
I ordered three of these cables for my Tripp Lite brand KVM. I didn't realize I needed them until I ordered them (my fault) but I'm glad I did. You could probably just use VGA extension cables and some USB A/B cables, but I've read that a lot of people have problems with video cable shielding. I've used them and had no problems and they've also reduced the clutter on my desk.
