Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Wiktor Borowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

The tire was interested in the tread pattern, read the reviews, bought it, balanced well, I was surprised that in the cold -20, -25 it is very soft. it rides like a tractor in deep snow (on really deep and heavy wet snow, like on uncleaned roadsides) this is their element, checkers are cleaned very well, you just need to rip the wheels into axle boxes, it’s just super on ice, the spikes are so big that they tear the ice under the wheels apart. it rides normally on asphalt, but when starting off, slipping on the spikes on asphalt can occur. this happens to me, although the engine is 75hp, yes, it is noisy (just like a helicopter), it subsides over time, but still presses on the ears. I live in the suburbs and drive mostly on snow-covered roads (I didn’t regret buying), and those who live in Hong Kong and drive on well-groomed asphalt roads will enjoy the rumble and clang of spikes (negative impressions will remain). And yet, the sidewall is very thin and soft , do not press close to the curbs.

Pros
  • very soft, large high spikes, new model, relatively inexpensive, high cross-country ability on snow and bare ice.
Cons
  • noisy
