I bought this as a starter kit - I wanted to use it to paint rocket models, maybe other models and also to decorate cakes (for my wife). As a starter kit, I thought the price was really good, $30 for a brush, 3 needles, tube, etc. Unfortunately, it was nothing short of a major headache from the start. The airbrush looks good on the outside, is nicely chromed, and has a cut out handle for accessing the needle chuck, as well as a tail screw for adjusting needle pull distance, which is a nice feature and usually only found on more expensive airbrushes. It also comes with 3 needle sizes - 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 - which should give you the ability to do very fine lines to wide spray patterns and work with a variety of media types. It also has a quick connector. A fairly large tank for paint and a metal lid. 6ft hose to complete the set. All of this is packed in a plastic box with a foam insert. Please note that in my case there was no room in the foam insert for additional needles or nozzle bodies - they just dangled inside. However, once you delve into the internals of the device and its performance, you'll understand why everything is only $30. The interior of the paint can was chrome plated, but the interior mixing area (where air and paint meet) was left unfinished. The paint was constantly drying here and difficult to clean as it stuck to the rough surface. Also, the back of the needle chamber seems to lag a bit behind the back of the cup, and the paint hides there too, again making cleaning difficult. The lever tension was not smooth. The biggest problem with this brush was that no matter what size needle was used (even the big 0.5), I still had to dilute the paint like hell (even a ready-to-use airbrush). color) to get it firing decently from the device and usually had to run it at a higher PSI. He also had a dry tip all the time. I spent more time cleaning the needle/tip and clearing the chamber of debris than painting. Usually I had to take the needle out of the chamber and clean it. Not fun at all and it will definitely discourage a beginner/newbie from using an airbrush if it requires it all the time. remove/install. It doesn't require much pressure or tightening, but the part is so brittle that replacing one of them simply broke the threaded part, making this size needle useless unless I bought a new nozzle. This was the final straw that made me just give up on this airbrush and decide to return it to Revain (I had about a week left of my 30 days). I still wanted to airbrush my models and after reading everything I decided to spend more money and bought a Badger Patriot 105 ($67) and Badger Braided Hose ($17) - yes almost 3x the price. Although not many accessories are included, I just want to tell you that the difference between the two is day and night. Right out of the box this thing sprayed beautifully and required no thinning of airbrush paints. Undiluted white Stynylrez Primer can also be applied with ease. Made fine lines for a massive wide spray and did it at less (15-20) psi - so it even worked with a single 0.5 needle which Masters 3 needles could theoretically do without modification. Cleaning just got a lot easier. The trigger is smooth and has better control. This is an airbrush everyone will love. If you don't plan on using this master's airbrush just to shoot liquid liquids like ink or food coloring, don't want to change needles, and don't mind a thorough cleaning, stay away from this article. Save and buy a Badger Patriot 105, Lower Paasche or Iwata (Neo). You will not regret it.
