When I first received this lightweight case I wasn't very impressed. I was sure that a metal latch hitting a plastic cover would wear out very quickly. I was wrong, this plastic is very strong and I think it is also reinforced with fiberglass. I don't know for sure because I don't want to cut it with a utility knife, but it's a much stronger plastic than I did at first. Relax. Why do I really love this business? Not even because it's waterproof. Because in this case the Zippo liquid lasts sooooo long. I usually had to refill about every other day. I've had this case for about 2 weeks now and have only refilled the Zippo once! Wonderful! Closing the lid while the flame is still burning creates a slight vacuum and tightens the lid just enough to close it. Not too tight to be difficult to open but just enough to close. I almost sent it back because I was sure it would break. I was wrong and I'm glad I kept it. I love leaving reviews. Honest reviews. When I like a $2 piece of jewelry, I leave a great review and detail every moment that makes me love it. This also applies to crappy items. Although this one? I'm definitely glad I have it. It will pay off in the amount of lighter fuel it saves me!
