I got this for my elderly mother and she can drink "Provide+" in the morning and "Provide high protein" in the morning and have real food in between. . Without ensure that it would be difficult for them to eat enough food due to the lack of apatite. However, there are two problems with this product. She can't open Provide High Protein because of the sealed lid and only likes the chocolate flavor. Abbott can't do anything about the latter, but they can and definitely should change the lid so the elderly or those with arthritis can open the product themselves. I'm not deducting stars for the lid issue, but I hope someone at Abbott reads all of these negative reviews and fixes the issue.
