Review on ⚡️ Klein Tools NCVT-3 Voltage Tester: Dual Range Non-Contact Pen with AC Testing & Built-in Flashlight by David Grajales

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Too sensitive. fits voltage tester

Update: I've had a chance to test it and it's back to Revain. With a standard USB cable, it signals EXACTLY the same as a 110V outlet. In fact, it signals a 5-foot stretch of wire that isn't connected to anything. ================== The block I received is too delicate. When I turn it on in the middle of the room after a normal start, it starts beeping and shows 2 solid LEDs (amber). When I run my finger over the sensor area, it stops beeping and the LEDs turn off. When I put it into the hot lead of a standard 110V plug, it beeps and displays 3 LEDs (2 amber and 1 red) and 1 red LED flashes. quickly. If I move it to the neutral terminal it goes back to two solid amber LEDs with an annoying beep. Therefore the beeper is absolutely useless. It beeps all the time, not just when it's near an AC power source. I haven't decided yet if I'll keep it - I have yet to test it in a few situations - but it's definitely not the quality I want. Expect the Klein tool.
