Review on Dremel A550 Shield Rotary Attachment by Phillip Johnson

It stays on my Dremel 24/7/365 I hate how any spinning grinder always looks like dirt is flying straight in your face and even with goggles I wanted more protection. On some projects I have to get what I'm grinding up close to see what I'm doing and this shield seems to block almost any debris leaving contact. That doesn't mean you don't need to wear goggles, but so far I've enjoyed the added security they offer. As a side note, I also think the durability is very good. I've used it many times and after dusting it off the clear screen looks like new. Once I cut some metal recently and glowing sparks fell on the shield in the same place for several minutes, then I checked and the shield wasn't damaged.
