Good. Tad is small. It's still worth it.

Nothing more to say except the title of my review: Good. Tad is small. It's still worth it. I agree with some of the other reviews I read before purchasing that said the shield would be better if it was a bit longer. It's still worth it. And honestly I see that length was discussed when this was designed. For too long it becomes an obstacle. Although I agree with other reviewers that it's too short. Still useful for most work bits, but falls short.

Pros
  • Easy to use

Another great accessory from Dremel!

Great Dremel kit. I think it's great that when you buy Dremel kits you usually get a better deal than you would if you bought each item individually. FYI, this attachment (guardian) does not work well with the keyless bit. Due to the cartridge, all accessories protrude too far - the blade used with the cartridge protrudes beyond the outer edge of the guard, rendering the guard ineffective. Works great with the standard Dremel nut and collet system.

Useful accessories in the accessories area

This is a good help to limit grinding sparks, especially in one direction, e.g. B. to the user. In this context, it allows, for example, to grind the top and sides of a small object, thus protecting the line of sight. Another useful version for controlling abrasive particle spread at a greater angle can be a 190 or 200 degree shield nozzle, which allows you to sand a flat surface or the end of a part and capture more particles.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Useless functions

This is good if you have EZ-Lock, Stone and .

This is fine if you need an EZ-Lock, a rock and the like, but the shield is almost useless after mediocre work with it. I cut off some nails and you have to back the cutter really far to get the flying objects in the shield. This in turn gives you almost no tool access to get good access to the cutting discs. Second, I felt it was too dirty and now prickly. I too often change up what I'm doing with the Dremel to unscrew an assembly or chuck and then a plastic ring to turn that on and off. If it

It was just as helpful as I had hoped.

It stays on my Dremel 24/7/365 I hate how any spinning grinder always looks like dirt is flying straight in your face and even with goggles I wanted more protection. On some projects I have to get what I'm grinding up close to see what I'm doing and this shield seems to block almost any debris leaving contact. That doesn't mean you don't need to wear goggles, but so far I've enjoyed the added security they offer. As a side note, I also think the durability is very good. I've used it many times…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
