Well, I didn't think it would work, but it was worth a try. And it works. I love that it encourages me to put veggies in omelettes. I've never worried before. I will say that I prefer the taste of eggs fried in oil. But if you want to stay away from oil, this gadget will do just that. It's easier to clean. I'm not sure if using it is really faster than using a frying pan. The eggs still need to be broken open. Then you need to be careful to pour the eggs evenly into each half of the gadget. I would say it takes just under 5 minutes to make a stuffed omelet. To clean, simply toss in the washing machine. How the hell do you spell the word "omelet"? Obviously not the way I write!
