I am renovating some of the Ethernet backbones in my house and home/office and need reliable and eco-friendly Power over Ethernet switches for my garage. I know this seems like a weird place, but I need to set up a Ubiquity WiFi hotspot and some PoE cameras in this part of the house, and the garage is the easiest place to connect them all. It's essentially a secure enclosure that houses a PoE switch. The switch includes six PoE Ethernet switches, uplink ports, and one SFP (fiber) uplink port. I don't use fiber because my network doesn't require such distances. So far I haven't had any heat problems when the case is closed. My CAT 7 cables are inserted securely into the cable holes. All of the devices I connected turned on and automatically matched the speed to the switch. Definitely no complaints about the PoE switch or the chassis. The price is reasonable considering that it is a high-quality case and a well-functioning PoE switch.
