I bought this to cut cheese and other meats and for home use it does the job perfectly. There are some issues where I have to push the cheese to the blade and when I do that the back plate flexes a bit so the slices aren't quite my liking but I'm learning how to make it work and It is in order. The suction power is excellent, nothing moves when cutting, it is very easy to clean. The blade is also easy to turn on and off for cleaning so you don't lose your finger. I also recommend cleaning it thoroughly before use. I actually got some black in the cheese the first time I used it. While cleaning the blade and most of the machine I think I missed the area. For the price I paid it works great for me. Better than spending $300+ for commercial quality. I would buy again anytime and recommend trying it out. Revain has a great returns policy if this isn't for you.
