
It hasn't been used in real life yet, but I took it to work and tested it in the calibration lab. I zeroed it on a granite slab and tested accuracy to within 1 inch using calibrated caliper blocks of various sizes. Each unit used showed exactly the same readings. The blocks used are calibrated, comparison below. 0.2505 read "0.375" 0.3750 read "0.500" 0.5005 read "0.850" 0.8505 read "1.000" 1.0000 read surface plate returns to 0.
