Tried on Linux and Windows Windows 10: The computer beeps like a new device is detected, but it doesn't show up anywhere. No network adapters, no errors in Device Manager. Can't get it to work with either USB-C or USB-A. Linux: I have to admit that this confuses me a bit. The adapter works well (at least with gigabit), with a USB 3.0 Type-A connector I can transfer 850 Mbit/s down and 53 Mbit/s up, which is about what I would expect from my service. Strangely, when I use the USB-C adapter, it only downloads 40Mbps. speeds and only one "orientation" (switching often leads to loss of connection and packet loss).
