I had to pour RTV silicone sealant into the seams between the lens and the base. I had one taillight completely out of order, and the other was missing three LEDs. The supplier replaced two and I processed one of the replacements as described leaving the other unsealed. After the next trip, the blank fell through to the diving depth, but the soldered one is fine. Resealed, let's see. I squeezed the sealant into the gap between the red lens and the base with my finger. My finger may eventually return to normal. Installation - only two screws (recommended self-tapping stainless steel screw).
