Before it broke it worked fine with my Samsung S20+ 5G charger when the car was powering it. It seems good practice to place the phone near a window (for GPS reception) and in front of an air vent so the phone doesn't get too hot in the sun. All the time out of sight so as not to disturb driving. It still works manually (by physically closing the clamp). The second came with a button pressed firmly, but it worked, so I checked the power supply. Turns out the part that plugs into the cigarette lighter has a spring-loaded center pin that got stuck in the one that doesn't work. The one that works has a center pin that expands and locks into place. Luckily, the wireless charger works with a regular power bank.
