I needed a pom pom making machine and despite the reviews I bought this pack. I mean how bad can they really be? Well, it's not that *terrible*, but it's SUPER weak. I had to spend another $3 and buy a number of well known brands at a craft store. Any plastic component is too flexible. I don't expect them to last more than a few uses. I'm pretty sure the plastic you put the metal center piece in will crack. The only reason it hasn't happened yet is because I've been very careful with it. Here, too, it was worth spending a few euros more.
