This alternator cost nearly half what Autozone/Pep Boys were trying to charge and a few hundred less than what the Subaru thieves were asking. The part came up with a slight adjustment to the mounting sleeve and has been working fine for well over a week. I can't comment on the longevity of the generator as it's only been installed for a short time, but I'll definitely update it as more information becomes available. It outputs about 14.2V and the charging system is now working properly. It was installed on a 2001 Subaru Legacy Outback 4cyl.
