I'm glad I chose this pad over the cheap ones you need to relax. After I removed and cleaned the valve cover it was so easy to put it back on and put everything back together. Comparing the original seal with this one, the original immediately looks like a joke. When you look at it, it becomes clear why standard car seals sooner or later fail. In an ideal world, seals of this quality would be standard on cars. I haven't had any leaks since the replacement and it's been a few months now. The seal is still clean and blue and I doubt its quality will ever replace it. I am confident that this seal will long outlive my jeep at this stage of its life.
