Review on 🖤 Black 18 Quart Weston Roaster Oven (03-4000-W) by David Hodgson

I couldn't wait to get this item. When it arrived at my front door the box was so big I thought it was the electric washing machine I was waiting for too. When I took it out of the box I was shocked to find the largest brazier I have ever seen. No joke. If you're short on space, this list isn't for you. I put a chicken in here and it looked so sad and dainty. It's also a pain to use. You'll need to preheat it, but once it's hot, open it to add the protein to the heat. There's no way to regulate the temperature or even make sure you're cooking at the right temperature. It took almost 4 hours to bring a 5 lb chicken to temperature and the chicken still didn't look roasted like it did in my oven. My chicken usually gets a nice hue from the oranges I put in the pan, but it looked anemic. It was also difficult to clean as it didn't fit properly in my sink. It was a pain to use and didn't give brilliant results. I could try roasting our Thanksgiving turkey here as it frees up my oven for all my sides, but I don't see much use beyond that. The description says you can bake here, but I can't even imagine you would bake one that big, except maybe a wedding cake. I'll update when I use the boost, but I doubt it will be any time soon.
