Review on 🔧 Bilstein B8 5100 Steering Damper for Enhanced Stability and Control by Justin Olson

Truck from MY '06 has 54,000 miles and I didn't want to mess with it because of the low mileage. After installing all 4 Bilstein shock absorbers I was so pleased that I thought it couldn't hurt. The difference is amazing! First the factory block exploded when I pushed it, but with my hand after removing it. I'm not sure if that's bad, but it can't be good. The new block made the truck feel completely different. With so few kilometers I found that normal and already felt like a new car. Am I wrong? It's like driving a brand new sedan, not a truck. This is one of those updates that makes a big difference and clearly points to an issue with the factory part design. Installation took about 1-1/2 hours. Never remove the tires or raise the truck off the ground. I didn't use a pneumatic tool, only wrenches and nozzles were needed.
