A VERY noticeable improvement!
I use them on all my cars but I've never noticed such improved throttle response as on my 2017 VW GTI SE! The factory pleated paper filter is approximately 4 inches thick, twice the thickness of K&N. Throttle response is noticeably improved, and you can actually hear the turbo running a little louder than factory. The fact that it can be washed and reused is just an added bonus. Bonus. as my wife and I will be doing about 300,000 miles on long commutes in this new car over the next 4 years.
