Koolatron vs RoadPro

There is a big difference between this Koolatron model and the RoadPro copy. I owned both. Both cost the same and work well, but in different ways. The RoadPro runs at a higher power level so food is heated to a higher temperature much faster. He can also digest it if left there for too long. RoadPro took about 30 minutes to get meatloaf, potatoes and peas very hot. Koolatron takes about 1-1.5 hours to bring it up to the same heat level. The problem with the RoadPro is that your fuses are guaranteed to blow. That happened to me three times with two different cars. This coulatron takes much longer to heat up, almost too long. The problem is that leaving it plugged in for too long will drain the battery. This happened in my Ford F550 work truck after leaving it on for about 6 hours to heat up two different meals during my shift. We had to make the leap. Still, I love both versions.
