Review on 📒 Bienfang Sketch Pad, 8.5x11 Inch - R237117, White by Kristen Reid

I hand out such small sketchbooks to high school students in drawing classes. Cheaper is good. However, the cover of this book is slightly thicker and heavier than 50 pound paper. The cover does not withstand being stowed in an ordinary student backpack. Once the front cover is ripped off, the papers will begin to peel off. Judging by the picture, I was hoping that the front cover would be cardboard with a glossy printed sticker, but it's not. 50 lb paper is fine for student sketches, but the foil on the front and the expectation that this type of sketchbook should be backpackable leads to my grade of 3. In the next grade I'll go to Strathmore's more expensive book with a heavier front return and reverse.
