Review on KitchenAid KO160OHAQA Gourmet Strainer 5 Inch by Brandon Mix

I've always found KitchenAid products to be well made. They are definitely better quality than what you can find at the dollar store. This particular colander looks very nice and is a nice weight when you hold it. Mesh cabling has smaller openings compared to some competitors. I have used a strainer to strain the oil off the surface of a soup or stew. I've also used it in hot pot cooking for pasta and meat. The hem at the end is very handy when you want to put it on a bowl. A small complaint I have relates to the material used for the handle. I have a feeling the plastic can be a bit slippery.
