Prep like those alone reality shows

This tool is one of those items that you practice in your backyard before taking to one of our venture crew outings. This set comes with a nice case that covers the entire tool.I've been putting this hand Auger to the test, and it's been fantastic. When it arrived, it was well-packaged, so I assumed it would be a good tool. It also came with a canvas pouch, which I found useful for storing it alongside my other bushcraft gear (The safety tip was a nice touch). So far, I've constructed a mallet and begun working with it on some furniture. The bit is razor-sharp, and the weld point is flawless. I've had scotch eye augers before, but they've never been this good. Finding a decent one has always been challenging. The lead screw on it is nice and lengthy, so it grabs a good grip on the wood. So far, I've just used it on hardwoods and I'm really happy with it! An electrophoresis coating is even applied to this auger. If you're unfamiliar with the term, it refers to the process of creating a highly resistant surface. This auger is a great addition to your survival kit or if you just want a lovely settlers wrench.

Pros
  • MUST-HAVE BUSHCRAFT TOOL: The sharpened bushcraft gear is great for making pegs that fit snuggly in the auger’s hole. Suitable for most soft/green wood projects, such as chairs, wooden mallets, ladder and shelter building, camping, Swedish rocket stoves, and creating cabin dowel holes.
Cons
  • The product's complex design may be intimidating for novice survivalists
