I wanted to replace all four ball joints in pairs on my 06 Ram 3500. I did the passenger side first and just rented a ball joint press kit from a local shop. It took me two (2) days to figure out how to get the old ones out and put the new ones in. There just weren't enough cups. I spent more time assembling how I would plug and unplug them than pressing them in. I sent this kit back as soon as one side was finished. I vowed never to rent one of their instruments again and immediately bought this one. I just pushed out the hinges on the driver's side. It took a bit of a pounding to get them to relax, but these are original ball joints that didn't have anti-seize installed or anything, so that's to be expected. New ones crowded in as if in a dream. It took about 30 minutes to push in the bottom pivot and I'll go back and push in the top pivot. Worth every penny and then some. Fantastic set I couldn't be happier with.
