It would be perfect. if it worked.
Ultimately, it's impossible to tell which port is active because the corresponding LEDs on some switch don't work or aren't there. I placed a flashlight on the smoke-colored clear plastic on the front but I don't see any LEDs, but in manual mode they should light up when a new port is selected. They don't. 99% of the time I only leave one port active, but every once in a while the hub decides to suddenly stop working and I have to run the printer cable straight to my PC, defeating the reason for the hub. .I do not recommend this product.
