I love these oven mitts. They fit both my very small hands and my son's very large hands. They give you more control over what you're doing than regular oven mitts or a towel. I don't get warm from them either. I've washed them in the washing machine and then put them in the dryer for the first time (I saw that they were NOT supposed to dry AFTER I've already dried them) but surprisingly they kept their shape perfectly. Since then I have washed and dried them several times and they are still in perfect condition. I only gave one star for the stretch as it is not a stretchy material.
