Review on 12-Inch OXO Good Grips Pro Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Frying Pan in Black by Chris Peck

I have had this pan for about 3 days now and am sending it back due to lack of power. I hope it was just a bad frying pan, as America's Test Kitchen recommended this particular non-stick frying pan. I've used many different brands in the past including Calaphon and T-Fal Titanium and they usually last about a year before needing replacement. I understand that nonstick pans are consumables and don't last forever or "for life", but I've never seen scratches appear so quickly. I only used silicone and hand washed which makes this an even more impressive disappointment. I'll try again and report back when I have some time to change pans. In the meantime I would caution others as this does not bode well for long-term use.
