A cork/air squeegee is better than a spiral puller.
This system works very well. Some corks are more difficult to insert a pin than others, but the cork will lift as advertised. The aerator helps to bring out the full flavor of the wine, regardless of the vintage. The cork is great too and if pumped enough it also easily pops the cork out of the neck of the bottle - otherwise it takes little effort to loosen. The cutter lost a small pin the first time it was used and didn't work that well. After replacing the pin, full performance was restored. All in all a great gadget.
