I had an old new gas cartridge. The old one needed help so I replaced everything. Now it's a pleasure to use! Bought new out of desperation. There is no vent and the jar would not close with a spout. I hated it and it pours SLOWLY. Both problems are solved! Now I can use it. I upgraded both cans with a 2' long, 3/4" clear hose. Now I can see what I'm pouring without kneeling or leaning 90 degrees. And if I want, I can leave the hose on and the canisters still seal!This is necessary when dealing with old or new gas cylinders.I will probably buy another new tank and this kit again now that I'm out of love and hate gas canisters!
